Our mission is to help companies improve their performance by providing the knowledge and skills necessary to sustain a system that fosters the Toyota Production System (TPS) and its philosophies. Basic Lean adheres to the principle:

“If the student didn’t learn, the teacher didn’t teach.”

We believe the very basic concepts of TPS; eliminating waste, continuous improvement and providing a visual shop were not being taught effectively to the people who turn the nuts and bolts. While successful lean manufacturing implementation requires involvement and commitment from every level in the organization, it is essential that the person on the shop floor understands and buys into this concept. All lean conversion is built upon this foundation.

We believe strongly that the involvement and commitment of people is essential to success. We work with key individuals to develop solutions that are inline with the organizational culture and strategic business goals, rather than impose our own ideas onto a company.
